How can you get to Backi Petrovac?

You can go by car,
on the regional road Novi Sad – Sombor, 35 km from the international high way E75. Regional road Novi Sad – Backa Palanka leads to the border with Croatia (22 km). The high way Novi Sad-Subotica has the border crossing Kelebija – Hungary (101 km) and Horgos (115 km).

By bus:
Go from the MAS station in Novi Sad to Backi Petrovac, Kulpin, Maglic, towards Odžaci, Pivnice, Vrbas. In each village, there are bus stations and good connections to major cities in the region, by the route through Petrovac. Traffic connections with Novi Sad are possible with a taxi line. Maximum allowed speed on the local roads ranges from 60 to 80 km/h and from 40 to 60 km/h in settlements. Tightening seat belts is obligatory.

By boat:
Cruising on the Danube, Corridor 7, the nearest port is Novi Sad Port (26 km) and you can go through the Danube-Tisa-Danube Canal to Backi Petrovac.

By plane:
Go from airport “Nikola Tesla” in Belgrade (105 km).

By bicycle:
Go on the Danube cycling route called EuroVelo 6, which includes several stages: Backa Palanka-Novi Sad, on the main road through the village Glozan – Backi Petrovac municipality, Begec and Futog to Novi Sad (25km).
